How do I get my picture onto the site?
Create an account and follow the brief instructions to upload your picture. Do not e-mail us with a photo asking us to post it!
I can't upload my picture!
This problem, 90% of the time, is caused if you try to upload a picture that is too big! Try uploading a smaller photo.
If that isn't the problem, make sure your photo is the correct type. We only support JPEG, GIF, BMP, and TIFF images.
Why wasn't my picture approved?
Moderators decide which pictures to approve by following a set of guidelines. Most likely, your picture did not meet some of these guidelines. You have to be clearly visible -- no tiny pictures of you with big trees in the background. If your photo has more than one person, make sure you are clearly indicated. Also, make sure your photo contains no personally identifiable information (this includes screen names).
Why can't I login?
Check that your username and password are correct. If you are certain they are, login troubles can usually be blamed on cookies -- make sure your browser accepts them!
Do you guys realize you're bastards for creating a site that further objectifies physical appearances?

Why does my rank say N/A?
This means that your photo hasn't been on the system long enough for an accurate score to be calculated. Give it a little time and check back later!
How can I get a hotlist for my school or company?
Tell your friends to register using their e-mail address from that organization (i.e. school or company e-mail). When we notice a lot of people from that organization, we will create the collection for you. If you think we have forgotten something, contact us!
How can I remove my picture from FaceMix?
Log in and click "Remove Picture." This will remove your picture and profile from the selection pool.
Help! I forgot my password!
Click "forgot" up top, next to the login fields, and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Why is she first place but only 5 / 26123
The ranking is the overall ranking on the site. So you can be the the hottest out of all girls, or the hottest from Polk University, but still be the 5th hottest person on the entire site.
Why is my score so low?
Well, aside from the obvious...just kidding. To be honest, you probably uploaded a bad picture. Try another one! This site is a really good way to find out which picture people think you look the best in. We've seen people with some of the lowest scores make the hot list by just changing their picture.
